This Cookie Policy explains how Cauta Solutions Group Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Ghana with its registered office in Accra, Ghana, uses cookies and similar technologies on the CautaReside marketing website at cautareside.com (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally.
This policy covers the public marketing Website only. The CautaReside portal that facilities log in to is a separate application; the strictly necessary session cookies it sets for authentication are described in Section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
We use cookies in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of the Republic of Ghana, under the oversight of the Ghana Data Protection Commission (DPC). Where visitors from the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom use the Website, we also apply the consent requirements of the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules: no non-essential cookie is set until you enable it.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. It lets the website recognise your device, remember your preferences and actions over a period of time, and understand how the website is used.
Where this policy refers to "cookies", it also covers similar technologies that store or read information on your device, such as scripts (program code that makes the Website interactive), web beacons (tiny invisible images used to measure traffic) and local storage (a browser store similar to cookies), when they are used for the purposes described below.
We group cookies into three categories. Only essential cookies are set without your consent. The other categories are switched off until you enable them in the cookie banner or under "Manage cookie preferences" above.
These cookies are needed for our Website to function and be secure. They cannot be switched off in our tools, although you can block them in your browser (see Section 4), in which case the demo-request and free-trial forms may stop working.
Analytics cookies would help us understand how visitors interact with the Website by collecting and reporting information anonymously, so that we can measure and improve performance.
We do not currently set any analytics cookies. Our traffic statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without fingerprinting and without tracking you across sites. The "Analytics cookies" toggle is provided so that, if we ever add a cookie-based analytics tool, it will run only for visitors who have enabled this category.
Advertising cookies would be used to show you advertisements that are relevant to you and your interests, limit how many times you see an advertisement, and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They are usually placed by advertising networks or social media platforms and may share information about your visit with those organisations.
We do not currently set any advertising cookies and do not run advertising or social-media tracking pixels on the Website. Any future advertising tag will run only for visitors who have enabled this category.
